Emulation Congress of the Provincial Border Guard for Victory in the period 2019

On the morning of July 15, the Provincial Border Guard Party Committee and Command organized the Emulation Congress for Victory in the period 2019 - 2024. Attending were Major General Nguyen Van Thien, Deputy Commander of the Border Guard, Ministry of National Defense; Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

Over the past 5 years, the emulation movement "Determination to Win" in the Provincial Border Guard has been active and widespread, bringing many positive results. Notably, it has proactively grasped and accurately forecasted the internal and external situation and advised and proposed to superiors policies and measures to lead and direct the management and protection of territorial sovereignty and national border security; at the same time, it has contributed to improving the effectiveness of management and control of entry and exit, ensuring border traffic. Thereby, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing border.

The Provincial Border Guard has effectively implemented movements, programs and models to help people develop socio-economy; strengthen the relationship between the army and the people, and build a strong national border defense. At the congress, delegates made presentations to clarify the achieved results, share experiences and propose solutions to better implement the emulation movement "Determination to Win" of the Provincial Border Guard in the next 5 years.

Speaking at the congress, Major General Nguyen Van Thien, Deputy Commander of the Vietnam Border Guard, acknowledged and commended the outstanding achievements of the officers and soldiers of the Quang Ninh Provincial Border Guard over the past 5 years. Regarding the upcoming tasks, the Deputy Commander of the Border Guard requested the Party Committee and the Command of the Quang Ninh Border Guard to continue to thoroughly grasp the policies and resolutions of the Central and the province, so that all officers and soldiers are properly aware of the position and role of emulation and reward work and the emulation movement to win.

Regularly carry out the work of summarizing and concluding, so that the Determination to Win emulation movement becomes a voluntary need of each collective and individual.

Continue to promote internal strength, pay attention to improving the material and spiritual life of officers and soldiers, and policies for the military rear so that soldiers can confidently strive and contribute...
