During the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, Gia Lai became an attractive destination when it marked itself with a series of unique cultural and tourism events, welcoming a sharp increase in the number of visitors compared to the same period in 2024.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai, the whole province is estimated to welcome more than 293,000 visitors, an increase of 12.5% over the same period in 2024; revenue from tourists is estimated at 623 billion VND, an increase of 10% over the same period last year.
On peak days (from August 29 to 31), room occupancy at tourist accommodation establishments in the East of the province reached 70%; some 4-star coastal hotels reached over 80%. In the West of the province, room occupancy reached 40%, increasing to 50% on September 1 and over 70% on September 2.
During the National Day holiday this year, Gia Lai province organized many exciting cultural and tourism activities. The highlight was the 2025 Festival of the Quintessence of the Great Forest - Blue Sea Convergence, which took place for 4 days (from August 29 to September 1), with a series of exciting activities, such as: Central Highlands Coffee and Gong Culture Festival, Food Festival "Delicious Dishes from Bazan Land and the Sea", Street Festival "Colors of the Ocean", Light Festival "Great Forest - Blue Sea Reaches to Shine", performances of traditional martial arts, hát bội, bài chòi, gongs, etc., creating a colorful picture, both traditional and modern.

Along with that, on the evening of September 2 at Dai Doan Ket Square (Pleiku ward), the art program celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day along with high-altitude fireworks attracted a large number of people and tourists to join in the solemn, emotional atmosphere, spreading national pride and aspirations for development.
Gia Lai's famous tourist attractions also attract visitors, such as: Eo Gio (welcoming 15,000 visitors), Ky Co (8,200 visitors), Ghenh Rang scenic spot (8,500 visitors), Quang Trung Museum (2,000 visitors), Pleiku Lake (3,000 visitors), Dai Doan Ket Square and Pleiku Museum (31,000 visitors), Safari Wildlife Park (3,600 visitors)...


On this occasion, many exciting and meaningful cultural, artistic and sports activities took place in the wards and communes. Typically, An Khe Ward organized the first mass art performance in 2025; Chu Se Commune organized the Chu Se Mini Football Tournament in 2025, attracting more than 200 athletes from 51 villages, hamlets and residential groups to participate; Ia Dom Commune coordinated with associations, professional departments and Dam San General Music and Dance Theater to organize a cultural and artistic exchange night.

Accommodation establishments, tourist areas, food and shopping services are carefully prepared in terms of facilities and human resources; strictly implementing regulations on publicity, listing and selling at the right price; ensuring absolute security and safety for tourists.
