BTO-The outstanding achievements of the provincial Armed Forces in the Emulation Movement to Win have truly become the driving force for cadres and soldiers to overcome all difficulties and hardships to excel in their assigned tasks, contributing to building a clean and strong Party organization, a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary, typical"; further enhancing the fine traditions of the provincial Armed Forces.
On the afternoon of June 7, the Provincial Party Committee - Military Command organized the Emulation Congress to determine victory of the armed forces of Binh Thuan province for the period 2019 - 2024. Attending the Congress were Heroic Vietnamese Mother Luong Thi Con; Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7; Comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Doan Anh Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Tieu Hong Phuc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of departments, branches, localities in the province and typical and advanced collectives and individuals in the whole army.
Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Doan Anh Dung acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Binh Thuan Provincial Armed Forces in the period of 2019 - 2024. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: In the coming time, the world and regional situation will develop rapidly, complicatedly and unpredictably. The country in general and Binh Thuan in particular have many opportunities for development but at the same time, they also face many difficulties and challenges. Therefore, the tasks of the provincial armed forces will become increasingly heavier and more difficult, requiring greater efforts and higher determination.
To successfully complete the tasks assigned by the provincial government and people, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that each cadre and soldier must promote the fine tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers, living with ideals, with ardent patriotism, loving comrades, teammates and compatriots. In any circumstance, we must be united, disciplined, proactive, the more difficult and arduous the more we must strive, try to compete, be ready to receive and complete any task when the Fatherland and people need it. Constantly compete, strive to train well, be highly combat-ready, master weapons and equipment, combine well the tasks of national defense and security with socio-economic development, promote participation in production, and constantly improve the lives of soldiers.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that in the emulation work, it is necessary to clearly identify the focus and key points with specific goals and targets, in accordance with the characteristics, requirements and tasks of each agency and unit; discover, foster and replicate typical advanced examples, new models, good and creative ways of doing things; closely combine the emulation movement to win with the local patriotic emulation movement. Associated with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the spirit of "Everyone competes, every sector competes, every day competes".
On behalf of the Party Committee and the Military Region 7 Command, Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7, affirmed: The Emulation Movement for Victory in the armed forces of Binh Thuan province is organized in a substantial manner, with many new, creative and effective ways, associated with the patriotic emulation movement in the locality and oriented towards the key political tasks of the unit. The Major General suggested that in the coming time, it is necessary to do a good job of discovering, nurturing, selecting, building and replicating advanced models, focusing on implementing the plan of the Military Region and the provincial Armed Forces on building and replicating advanced models in the period of 2024 - 2029. Do a good job of commending in batches, years and unexpected rewards, promptly encouraging collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements to propose for commendation and reward. Prevent and eliminate dishonesty, achievement disease, competition or egalitarianism in emulation.
According to the report of the Provincial Military Command, in the period of 2019-2024, the emulation and reward work and the Emulation Movement to Win of the armed forces in the province have achieved many important results. Notably, the provincial armed forces have always been at the forefront, innovative and creative with many practical emulation movements and new models, such as the emulation movement "3 strengthening" in military and defense tasks; the emulation movement "5 no, 3 promotion" in training, competitions and sports; the model "Learning from friendly party cells" in Party building work, the model "5 proactive in ideological work"; "Youth Union 4 good, 1 strict"; "Provincial armed forces join hands to build new countryside" and many emulation movements and models in agencies and units of the provincial armed forces.
In particular, the model of "Provincial armed forces strengthen solidarity with ethnic groups and religions" is very meaningful, bringing practical results. The provincial armed forces have built and handed over 98 Army-Civilian houses of gratitude; 16 comrade houses, 4 cultural and sports facilities. Through the emulation movement, many advanced models and outstanding examples have emerged, vividly demonstrating the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", creating many good impressions in the Party Committee, government and people of the province.
At the Congress, Military Region 7 awarded the Emulation Flag to 1 collective and awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 3 individuals of the Provincial Military for "Outstanding achievements in emulation and commendation work and the patriotic emulation movement in the period 2019 - 2024"; The Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and 7 individuals for "Outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement associated with the local patriotic emulation movement in the period 2019 - 2024".
