On August 20, in the capital Asuncion, Ambassador Ngo Minh Nguyet presented her credentials to Paraguayan President Santiago Peña Palacios.
Congratulating Ambassador Ngo Minh Nguyet on officially becoming the Vietnamese Ambassador to Paraguay, President Santiago Peña expressed his admiration for Vietnam - a very dynamically developing Southeast Asian country.
According to President Santiago Peña, Paraguay and Vietnam, although geographically distant, share many similarities in culture, history, and traditions of fighting against foreign invaders for national independence. The two countries also have great potential for cooperation.
In 2024, the Paraguayan Minister of Industry and Trade had a very successful visit to Vietnam, opening up many opportunities for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
