On the afternoon of January 4, in Dong Nai, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the decisions of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work. Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired the ceremony with leaders of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee.
At the ceremony, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, the leader of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Ministry of Public Security, announced the content of the decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer of Colonel Nguyen Hong Phong, Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of the Department of Professional Affairs of the Ministry of Public Security.

New Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police Nguyen Duc Hai (born in 1977, from Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province). He used to be the Chief of Hoang Mai Town Police, Nghe An province. In 2015, he was appointed Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Police.
On November 24, 2023, the Minister of Public Security transferred and appointed Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai to hold the position of Director of Quang Tri Provincial Police.
