QNgTV- In the face of prolonged heavy rain, on the morning of November 18, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province signed and issued an official dispatch requesting urgent response, ensuring safety for people and limiting damage caused by floods.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities to closely monitor forecasts and warnings of heavy rain, floods, flash floods, landslides and provide timely and complete information to people to proactively prevent them. Note to regularly check the roads in the area, when there are landslides, there must be a plan to immediately warn vehicles to ensure high safety for people and vehicles.

Urgently and proactively check and resolutely implement measures to evacuate people to safe places, especially in areas where landslides have occurred or are at high risk of landslides. Prepare adequate forces, means, equipment, food, provisions, and essential necessities according to the "four on-the-spot" principle to be ready to respond, especially in areas at risk of being cut off or isolated.
