Miss Thuy Tien, Quang Linh, Hang Du Muc appear in court

QNgTV- Miss Thuy Tien, Quang Linh, and Hang Du Muc were tried for providing false and untrue information about the ingredients, features, and uses of Kera candy on social networking platforms with the purpose of selling products for illegal profit.

On the morning of November 19, defendants Thuy Tien, Hang Du Muc, Quang Linh... and other defendants were escorted to court.

The defendants were brought to trial by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court in the case of "deceiving customers" related to Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company (CER) and Asian Life Joint Stock Company. To resolve the case, the panel of judges summoned more than 20 individuals and organizations to court as people with rights and obligations related to the case.

The investigation results show that from December 12, 2024 to March 14, 2025, Le Tuan Linh, Le Thanh Cong, Nguyen Thi Thai Hang, Pham Quang Linh, and Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien posted false and untrue information on social networking platforms to sell a total of 129,617 boxes of Kera candy to 56,385 customers, earning more than VND 17.5 billion, illegally profiting nearly VND 12.5 billion.

During the investigation phase, the defendants, subjects, and related individuals voluntarily paid nearly 9.8 billion VND to remedy the consequences.

In addition, the investigation agency has frozen 6 accounts worth nearly 2.7 billion VND of Hang, Cong, Thuy Tien and Tuan Linh.
