Ensure stable facilities and workplace for the administrative apparatus after the merger

July 1, 2025 will mark an important milestone when the new Lam Dong province officially comes into operation, after merging with Binh Thuan and Dak Nong. To ensure the smooth and effective operation of the administrative apparatus, Lam Dong province has been making efforts to thoroughly prepare facilities, workplaces and living spaces for cadres, civil servants and public employees.

Part of the headquarters of the People's Committee of Da Lat City has been handed over to a number of Party agencies.

• REASONABLE AND SCIENTIFIC WORKPLACE ARRANGATION

Lam Dong province has developed a detailed and scientific plan for arranging workplaces to best meet the working needs of agencies and units. Accordingly, the province focuses on renovating, repairing and upgrading existing headquarters, while taking advantage of surplus locations from the People's Committees of Lac Duong wards and towns after the merger.

Specifically, the current Provincial Party Committee headquarters (area 15,153 m ² ) and part of the Da Lat City People's Committee headquarters (area 14,848 m ² ) on Tran Nhan Tong Street will be the workplace of Party agencies. The Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council will be located at 02 Tran Hung Dao (area 2,267.1 m ² ) and part of the area at 4A Tran Hung Dao (area 1,100 m ² ). The Provincial People's Committee Office and the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee will work at the current headquarters at 04 Tran Hung Dao (area 3,872 m ² ), 08 Tran Hung Dao (area 720 m ² ) and part of the area at 04A Tran Hung Dao (area 2,200 m ² ).

Departments, branches and units will be located at the Provincial Administrative Center (No. 36 Tran Phu, area 24,047 ^m2 ) and some other locations such as No. 2L Ba Thang Tu Street (area 748 ^m2 ), No. 08 Ba Thang Tu Street (area 600 ^m2 ), No. 50 Quang Trung (area 310 ^m2 ), No. 52 Quang Trung (area 669 ^m2 ), old headquarters of Ward 3 People's Committee (area 1,881 ^m2 ).

The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio -political organizations will use the current addresses and part of the area at 05 Tran Nhan Tong. The public service units are arranged at 7 different locations, including the old headquarters of Ward 1 People's Committee, Ward 4 People's Committee and other arranged agencies and units located on Le Hong Phong, Ly Tu Trong, Tran Hung Dao streets (headquarters of Lam Dong Radio and Television Station, the Radio and Television Station is expected to move to a new location in August 2025). The associations assigned by the Party and State are arranged at 22 Pasteur (former headquarters of the Department of Transport).

• ENSURE WORKING EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES

In addition to arranging the workplace, Lam Dong province has also made a detailed plan for the use of cars, machinery and equipment. The total number of cars in the three provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong is currently 839. The province will prioritize the use of specialized cars for specific activities, while continuing to manage and effectively use the existing cars for general work.

Specialized machinery and equipment were transferred to the units receiving the tasks. Departments and branches were also requested to review and move common machinery and equipment to new work locations...

• ARRANGE ACCOMMODATION FOR OFFICIALS AND CIVIL SERVANTS COMING TO WORK IN DA LAT

One of the top priorities of the province is to arrange accommodation for officials, leaders, civil servants, public employees, and workers from Dak Nong and Binh Thuan provinces who move to Da Lat to work. The province has reviewed and counted the number of leaders and is renovating and repairing the Provincial Party Committee's official residence, the Provincial People's Committee Office's guest house, and some villas on Tran Hung Dao and Yen The streets... to arrange accommodation for leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee.

In addition, the province has also reviewed the number of cadres and civil servants and, according to the plan, arranged 31 facilities with a total area of ​​27,166 m2 to serve as accommodation for about 1,690 cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers working at provincial departments, branches and Party agencies (except those working in Lam Dong). These facilities have been assigned to relevant departments, branches and sectors to closely coordinate in implementing tasks such as transferring assets, making estimates, organizing renovations and repairs... to meet the housing needs.

According to the reporter, the preparation work is being urgently deployed. It is expected that by July 1, 2025, when the new provincial administrative unit officially comes into operation, the preparation work will be basically completed, ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Lam Dong provincial administrative apparatus after the merger.
