Implementing Plan No. 833/KH-BYT dated June 20, 2025 of the Ministry of Health on peak actions to prevent and control dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease and Covid-19, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to deploy peak activities to prevent and control dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease and Covid-19 according to the requirements of the Ministry of Health and the Provincial People's Committee.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Radio and Television Station, and Lam Dong Newspaper coordinate with the Department of Health to deploy disease prevention and control propaganda activities, diversify communication activities so that people understand and proactively implement measures to prevent dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease and Covid-19.

The Department of Education and Training strongly implements disease prevention activities, especially hand, foot and mouth disease in nurseries and kindergartens. It is recommended that educational establishments must have adequate hand washing facilities, soap and convenient locations to facilitate hand washing by caregivers and children. Clean classrooms, clean the surfaces of desks and chairs and toys daily with soap or common detergents. Early detection of disease cases in educational establishments, immediately notify medical facilities for timely examination, treatment and handling of outbreaks.

The People's Committees of districts and cities (the People's Committees at the commune level after the merger) direct departments, offices, and units to coordinate with the health sector to effectively implement disease prevention and control activities. Mobilize the community and the whole society to participate in removing and overturning unnecessary water containers, covering and monitoring tanks and clean water containers to kill mosquito larvae, mosquito nets, etc. to prevent dengue fever. Instruct households, preschools, and primary schools to regularly clean and sanitize children's hands to prevent hand, foot, and mouth disease. Propagate to each household the use of personal protective measures such as wearing masks in public places, limiting unnecessary gatherings to prevent and control Covid-19.

Provincial departments, branches, sectors and mass organizations, according to their assigned functions and tasks, coordinate with the health sector to resolutely implement disease prevention and control work; organize a peak campaign in June - July 2025 to implement the prevention and control of dengue fever, hand, foot and mouth disease, and Covid-19.
