Ensuring the progress and quality of the Capital Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050

(HNMO) - The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 158/KH-UBND on implementing the organization of the Hanoi Capital Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, replacing Plan No. 146/KH-UBND issued on May 25, 2022.

Accordingly, the Hanoi Institute for Socio -Economic Development Studies (planning agency) presides over and coordinates with the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Planning and Architecture, the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning and other city departments, branches, and sectors, and the People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to urgently deploy the work of developing the Hanoi Capital Planning.

The Department of Planning and Investment shall take the lead in advising on matters related to state management of planning; closely coordinate with the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Studies and the city's departments and branches in the work of establishing, appraising, and approving the Hanoi Capital Planning; be the contact point with specialized agencies of the Ministry of Planning and Investment in guiding the organization of planning, organizing appraisal submission, and periodically reporting progress.

The Department of Planning and Architecture, the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment coordinate with the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Studies on contents related to spatial organization, establishment of a system of maps and drawings in the process of making the Hanoi Capital Master Plan; ensuring that the contents of the Overall Adjustment of the Hanoi Capital Master Plan are consistent and synchronized with the Hanoi Capital Master Plan.

The Department of Finance coordinates and guides the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research to implement procedures and professional expertise in the field of budget finance.

The city's departments, branches and sectors continue to review and evaluate the planning work of their sectors and fields for the 2011-2020 period; provide data to serve the work of preparing the Hanoi Capital Planning; coordinate with the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research and consulting units in the process of surveying, researching and proposing planning orientations.

The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities continue to carry out the work of developing the Hanoi Capital Planning according to their assigned functions and tasks, and are responsible for coordinating with the Hanoi Institute for Socio-Economic Development Research and consulting units in the process of surveying, researching and proposing planning orientations.

The City People's Committee requested heads of assigned units to proactively coordinate and deploy work contents with a spirit of urgency and seriousness, striving to complete on schedule, ensuring the quality of the Hanoi Capital Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
