According to the representative of the Traffic Police Department (Hanoi City Police), implementing the direction of the Director of the City Police, the units have increased forces and means to guide and control traffic; coordinated with functional forces to regulate traffic at key intersections, preventing traffic jams to serve people traveling during the New Year holiday.
The Traffic Police Department also increased its forces and vehicles to patrol, control, detect and strictly handle violations such as alcohol concentration, speeding, carrying too many passengers, stopping and parking in violation of regulations... to prevent traffic jams and accidents.
