In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the Political Department has thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the resolutions, directives and instructions of the superiors; closely followed the political tasks of the armed forces of the Military Region; provided timely, accurate and effective advice to the Party Committee and the Military Region Command to lead and direct the implementation of comprehensive Party work, political work (CTĐ, CTCT) and legal work, with many tasks being excellently completed; internal solidarity and unity; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee have been enhanced. The Party Committee of the Department has excellently completed its tasks, for 3 consecutive years the Political Department has been awarded the Emulation Flag of the Government, and in 2024 it was awarded the Emulation Flag of the Military Region Command.

Speaking at the Congress, Major General Nguyen Duc Hung commended, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee of the Political Department in the past term. The Political Commissar of the Military Region requested that in the coming term, the Party Committee of the Political Department thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the goals, targets and breakthroughs set out in the resolution of the Congress of the Department. The activities of the Party Committee and the Political Department must closely follow the tasks, have many innovations in content, methods and ways of implementation to be truly effective...

With the motto "Solidarity, democracy, innovation, development", the Congress discussed and gave opinions on the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; the draft political report of the Military Region Party Committee to be submitted to the 10th Military Region Party Congress; documents of the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term; elected delegates to the 10th Military Region Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, and the elected comrades all received high votes of confidence.
