On November 21, at the Memorial Site of Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet (Trung Thanh commune), the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Southern Uprising (November 23, 1940 - November 23, 2025) and the 103rd birthday of Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet (November 23, 1922 - November 23, 2025).

Attending the ceremony, the Central leaders included comrade Bui Van Nghiem - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.
The leaders of Vinh Long province include comrades: Tran Van Lau - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Minh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Tri Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Kim Ngoc Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Lam Minh Dang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders and former leaders of the province through the periods; and relatives of Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet.
In a solemn atmosphere, delegates burned incense at the relic cluster of the Admiral Le Can - Nguyen Giao Monument, the Nam Ky Uprising Stele, the statue of comrade Nguyen Thi Hong, and the Vung Linh Lake relic.

At the Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet Memorial Site, delegates respectfully offered flowers, incense and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet - an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, a staunch revolutionary soldier, an outstanding leader with great prestige of the Party and State, who fought all his life for national independence and for the happiness of the people.

As the head of the Government, many key projects of the country bear the "Vo Van Kiet mark" such as: the 500kV North - South power transmission line; Ho Chi Minh road; North Thang Long - Noi Bai road; Tri An Hydropower project; the Dong Thap Muoi and Long Xuyen Quadrangle development program; Dung Quat oil refinery... have been effectively promoted, contributing to creating great achievements in the country's renovation. The life and revolutionary career of comrade Vo Van Kiet is a typical embodiment of a loyal revolutionary soldier, an excellent leader, who devoted his whole life to the country and the people.
With a democratic and in-depth working style, theory closely linked to practice, words matching actions; daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, he has made an important contribution to mobilizing all classes of people to actively implement the renovation policy initiated and led by the Party.
