Evaluation and acceptance of scientific topics on the development of military art theory in the war to defend the Fatherland

( Bqp.vn ) - On the morning of October 16, in Hanoi, the Ministry of National Defense 's Science Council held a meeting to evaluate and accept the results of the scientific research project "Research on developing military art theory in the war to defend the Fatherland". Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Chairman of the Council chaired the meeting. The project was chaired by the Institute of Defense Strategy; Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense, was the project's head. Attending the meeting were representatives of a number of agencies, units and members of the Council.

At the meeting, opinions unanimously assessed: Researching and developing military art theory in the war to defend the Fatherland is an extremely urgent issue in both theory and practice, contributing to building and developing an increasingly strong Army, ready to fight and fight to firmly protect the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Fatherland; maintaining a peaceful and stable environment for building and developing the country. The topic is a scientific work with comprehensive research content, high scientific content, wide scope of influence, rich in practicality. During the research organization process, the topic mobilized many cadres, generals, scientists, experts with experience and practical experience in leadership, command, and scientific research to participate. The topic closely followed the practical situation, analyzed and clarified the scientific basis, theoretical basis and practice in the country and the world; proposed a system of solutions, tasks that were close to reality and highly feasible. The recommendations have scientific basis, are reliable, consistent with the Party and State's guidelines, viewpoints, policies, national defense strategy, military strategy, and meet the requirements of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

The research results of the topic are the scientific basis providing arguments for the Party, State, Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense, agencies, units, academies, and schools in the Army as research documents, consulting, and proposing to the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense on military and defense tasks.

Concluding the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong affirmed that the project is an independent work with comprehensive research content, high scientific content, wide scope of influence and practicality; the project was carefully researched, ensuring the correct process and time schedule; contributing to providing scientific arguments in building the Vietnam People's Army to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong and Council members congratulated the Project Management Board.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong also requested the Project Management Board to absorb the Council's opinions at the meeting, continue to adjust, supplement, and perfect the products, report to the Ministry of National Defense for consideration and recognition, and soon apply the project's research results in practice.
