La Gi Town People's Committee has just held a conference to evaluate and classify products of the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program of the town, phase 2, 2023.

Participating in the scoring, evaluation and classification of OCOP products in this second round, 2 products, Nhu Y traditional anchovy fish sauce with 30 degrees of nitrogen and Kim Chau anchovy fish sauce with 40 degrees of nitrogen, were both evaluated and classified as achieving 3-star OCOP.

Previously, La Gi Town People's Committee organized scoring, evaluation and recognition of dried anchovy products of Kim Chau Seafood Company Limited to achieve 3-star OCOP.

Since the beginning of the year, the People's Committee of La Gi town has focused on directing specialized departments and the People's Committees of communes to do a good job of reviewing statistics, disseminating information, and guiding entities with products to register to participate in the evaluation and classification of OCOP products in 2023. Through the evaluation and scoring of product classification, the town has selected products with local characteristics and advantages, contributing to increasing the value and competitiveness of products in the market. Thereby, promoting production development, increasing income for people, and at the same time, creating conditions for expansion and business development for production and business establishments.
