What is special is that the temple is located on the border of Lao Cai province, from here you can visit Lung Po flagpole in A Mu Sung commune - "where the Red River flows into Vietnam" and go up to Y Ty commune - a tourist destination with beautiful scenery and rich identity".

For many tourists, when coming to Trinh Tuong commune, they not only get to visit and worship Trinh Tuong Temple but also experience other unique cultural and historical spaces.

Trinh Tuong commune still has the ruins of forts and posts built during the French colonial period more than 100 years ago. Right in Pho Moi 1 village, there is Trinh Tuong market held every Sunday, bustling and crowded. Coming to the market, visitors can explore the diverse cultural colors of the Giay, Mong, Dao, Ha Nhi ethnic groups...

From the center of Trinh Tuong commune, going uphill to Lao Chai village located at an altitude of about 1,600m above sea level, bordering Y Ty commune, visitors will see the mud-walled houses with moss-covered grass roofs of the Ha Nhi people, as beautiful as in fairy tales.

This is also an ideal cloud hunting spot because you can see the whole view of Trinh Tuong commune basin and the Red River. Coming to the villages of Dao and Giay people, visitors can experience herbal baths, hot spring baths and experience herbal products of the mountains and forests.

However, to promote tourism development, Trinh Tuong still faces many difficulties. Recently, due to the impact of natural disasters, many constructions have been damaged and lost. Provincial Road 156 from Trinh Tuong to Y Ty is seriously degraded. The commune also does not have outstanding tourism products, and there are no individuals or businesses investing in systematic tourism...

Trinh Tuong commune is actively promoting the preservation of cultural identity and natural landscapes for sustainable tourism development; at the same time, calling on businesses to invest in tourism development in the area. The commune also mobilizes some households to build homestays to welcome tourists, invest in building some sightseeing stops in the area bordering Y Ty commune; organize cultural and sports activities to attract tourists to visit...
