The Road Management Department handles the road surface crack incident at Km1253+100 on National Highway 1.

According to the Vietnam Road Administration ( Ministry of Transport ), among the traffic jams caused by floods, there are 6 locations on centrally managed national highways and 13 locations on locally managed national highways.

Centrally managed national highways have 6 remaining positions.

Three locations on National Highway 1 through Dak Lak (from Km1341 to Km1353) are expected to open to traffic before 9:00 p.m. on November 22.

Three locations on the Truong Son Dong route include: Km38+730 ( Da Nang ), expected to have one lane open before 9:00 p.m. on November 21; Km158+450 (Quang Ngai), expected to have one lane open before 6:00 p.m. on November 22; Km449+000 (Gia Lai), expected to have one lane open before 8:00 a.m. on November 22.

The previously congested points in Khanh Hoa have been completely cleared.

There are 13 remaining locations on locally managed national highways.

Da Nang City currently has 3 locations on National Highway 4E that are being focused on being repaired.

Khanh Hoa province recorded 8 landslides on National Highway 27C (Khanh Le Pass), and has continued to ban vehicles from going up the pass since November 17. Authorities have diverted traffic from Nha Trang to Da Lat via alternative routes: National Highway 1-National Highway 27-Lien Khuong-Prenn Expressway or National Highway 26.

In Lam Dong province, 2 locations were severely damaged, including Km226+700 on National Highway 20 (Mimosa Pass) with a completely broken roadbed about 70m long and 40m deep. Traffic was diverted to National Highway 20, National Highway 27 and DT.725.

Faced with the complicated developments of the floods, the government leaders, the Ministry of Construction and the Vietnam Road Administration have established a working group to go directly to the South Central provinces to direct the recovery work, and at the same time organize 24/7 duty, mobilize thousands of stone cages, machinery and materials to support the localities to soon reopen the route. The measures aim to ensure traffic safety, maintain the circulation of goods, and contribute to stabilizing people's lives during the flood season.

Vietnam Road Administration recommends that people and drivers comply with traffic signs and instructions, and absolutely do not enter dangerous areas.
