Southern Vietnam Traditional Arts Performance attracts large audiences
Greetings from the city of love
Right from the opening performance "Hello Ho Chi Minh City - Hello City", the audience was drawn into the youthful, vibrant atmosphere with the combination of singer Ho Tuan Phuc, Dam Thu Thuy and rapper Twon, along with the dance groups Chuong Gio and Gold Star Kids.
The modern lyrics and choreography blend with the rap to evoke the image of a dynamic, affectionate city, where every smile and every street corner is a source of creativity.
Mr. Tran The Thuan - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City - delivered the closing speech, emphasizing the role of literature and art as "a spiritual stream closely connected with the life of the city", and affirmed the aspiration to make Ho Chi Minh City become the cultural industrial center of the whole country in the new period.

Poetry and literature lovers have attended seminars and discussions about outstanding literary and poetic works by authors in Ho Chi Minh City.
Rivers of Art Convergence
The program continued with a special art performance with the theme "Our Common Home", opening up a space of intersection between regions, between memories and the present. Artists Minh Sang - Le Thu Hien and the Wind Chimes and White Apricot dance groups brought "Lullaby of the North" - a contemporary folk medley, recalling the gentle love of the land and people of the North.
Immediately after that, Nghe An Traditional Arts Center lit up the stage with a series of performances: "Finding the Giam Vi Song", "Thuong Lam Mo Te", "Nghe An in My Heart"... like the Lam River filled with nostalgia for the homeland in the heart of the city named after Uncle Ho.
The Southern space is recreated through the song "Southern Voice" (Minh Chau), with the typical Ao Ba Ba and Khan Ran dance, evoking the immense emotions of rivers and waters, imbued with Southern sentiment.

People's Artist Thoai Mieu interacts with the audience at the night honoring composer Tran Huu Trang
Following that, other units from Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Duong regions contributed to creating a cultural "circle" through the performances: "Sea Aspiration", "Binh Duong - Gentle Fragrance", "Wonderful Binh Duong Ceramics" - honoring the spirit of creative labor and the identity of the Southern region.
Fatherland seen from the sea – a sacred epic
One of the profound artistic highlights of the closing night was the poem-song excerpt "The Fatherland seen from the sea - The national flag on a distant island", performed by the Ho Chi Minh City Drama Theater.
Artists Hong Pham, Do Thuy, Doan Thanh Phuong, and Huynh Thanh Trung transformed into "narrators", taking the audience through each wave of poetry, from pain and loss to national pride: "If the Fatherland is in a storm from the sea... There is a part of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa's flesh and blood! ... Even though there are storms for thousands of years, the national soul will never be subdued!".
The singing of singer Duyen Quynh and the appearance of the dance troupe and choir made all emotions blend into a deep pride.
Closing with a triumphant song 50 years of the city named after Uncle Ho
The finale of the program was a series of exciting performances: "The City in Me" (Nguyen Phi Hung), "A Round of Vietnam" (Dong Thien Duc), and "Welcome to 50 Years of the City Named After Him" (Mai Tram) - affirming the love, pride and aspiration of Ho Chi Minh City in its integration journey.
As the song "Joining Hands" resounded with the outdoor performance "Farewell to Friends", hundreds of artists - from veteran artists to children in the Gold Star Kids group - held hands in a circle of solidarity.

The art performances were staged grandly, leaving a beautiful impression on the public.
The singers performed each performance vividly, contributing creatively to the end of a cultural event and opening up belief in the future of the city's literature and arts in the new era.
50-year mark – The unceasing flow of "Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Days" in 2025 is a special event in the process of building the City's Cultural Industry, considered as an "open creative forum", where generations of artists look back on the past 50-year journey, and at the same time orient the future - from preservation to innovation, from tradition to integration.
