Jack has not had time to submit the application for approval?
Regarding the song by singer Jack that is causing controversy in the media because of its "arrogant" lyrics and meaningless lyrics that evoke vulgar slang, a representative of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports said that the song has not been approved for performance.
Specifically, in the song list that the organizers of the Moonlit Childhood event (taking place on October 16 in Hanoi) sent to the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports for censorship, this song was not included.
In response to media opinion, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports is reviewing the incident and will request the organizer to come to work.
Meanwhile, designer Thach Linh - representative of the event organizer - when sharing with Tuoi Tre Online also admitted that this song had not been approved by the authorities because it was composed spontaneously 5-6 days before the show as a gift Jack intended to give to fans in Hanoi.
The performance approval application was submitted in advance so the organizer did not have time to include it in the application.
"I respect all Laotians", not "I respect all Laotians"?
In addition, designer Thach Linh explained in the vocal version that the lyrics of the song are "I respect everything Lao" and not "I respect everything Lao" as the information spread on the media and social networks.
She said some audiences are misunderstanding the lyrics in Jack's new song, which does not contain any lyrics that could be interpreted in an offensive way.
Regarding the hot incident in the media, singer Jack also officially spoke up on his fanpage.
"This is an unreleased song, performed spontaneously by Jack as an off-script gift to thank the audience for staying and waiting even though it was late at night.
As the song does not have an official audio version and was sung spontaneously at the event, the recordings from the night may lead to misinterpretations. We ask that you look forward to the upcoming standard release," the statement read.
