On December 5, public opinion reacted when it was discovered that the poster of the program "Love Central Region" which will take place on December 12 at Tran Huu Trang Theater had arbitrarily attached the logos of many press agencies, including Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, even though it had not been approved by the editorial offices. This action violated intellectual property rights regulations and affected the reputation of the press, raising concerns about the professionalism and transparency of a charity program.

The organizers of the program "Beloved Central Region" apologized to many press agencies for arbitrarily attaching the names of many newspapers without permission.

Faced with that situation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung - Head of the Organizing Committee - officially apologized: "We accept responsibility for the mistake of using the press logo without permission. This was an error in the design and approval of the publication. I sincerely apologize to the press agencies and the public, and pledge not to let similar mistakes happen."

In further discussion, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung (Dung Hai San) - a sponsoring businesswoman and the first time organizer of the program - admitted the shortcomings: "Because it was the first time I organized the program myself, I did not understand the process. I asked an acquaintance to invite reporters to cover the news and thought that I could put the newspaper cuff on the poster. When I received feedback, I immediately asked the technician to remove all the information and edit it."

Ms. Dung emphasized that the purpose of the program is completely community-oriented: "We do it because we care about the people of Central Vietnam during the storm and flood. All contributions will be transferred to support the people. This incident is regrettable, I sincerely apologize to the newspapers and hope for your understanding."

The incident is seen as an important lesson: all charitable or artistic activities require standards, respect for the law, and absolutely must not arbitrarily use the reputation of a press agency.

The Organizing Committee said it has edited all media publications and is actively working with editorial offices to remedy the consequences.
