VNeID application with many new updates. |
On the morning of June 30, provinces and cities across the country simultaneously held the "Ceremony to announce the National Assembly 's Resolution on merging provinces and cities, along with the Party Central Committee's decisions on establishing provincial Party committees and local leadership personnel".
At the seminar “To connect VNeID safely and conveniently” held on April 22, Major Tran Duy Hien said that the police agency will coordinate with localities to update the new administrative boundary list. This information will be automatically updated and synchronized with the identification account system on VNeID.
Accordingly, when entering the VNeID application, the user's Citizen Identification Card section remains the same as before. However, items such as place of birth registration, permanent residence, current residence, have been changed to the new address, including commune/ward and province/city.
Step 1 : Log in to the VNeID application.
To check the version of the application, citizens select “Personal”, the application version will be located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Select “Paper Wallet” at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: Select “Residence Information” and enter password

Step 4: View residence information, including Administrative information such as Full name, personal identification number, gender, date of birth, ethnicity, religion, nationality, hometown. Residence information such as Permanent residence, temporary residence, current residence.
In addition, people can view information of other household members (Full name, personal identification number, date of birth, gender, relationship to head of household) by selecting “Other household members”.
For the VNeID electronic application, users also need to log in similarly, select "Resident information", enter the Passcode to open the electronic household registration book. You can select "Family members" to view the electronic household registration book.
