According to Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Trung Nhi Ward: "One of the positive changes in implementing digital transformation in the area is that many people have gradually changed their awareness, becoming positive participants in the digital transformation process with activities such as conducting electronic transactions in paying for medical examination and treatment services, paying electricity and water bills; paying fees in resolving administrative procedures..."
Trung Nhi Ward is focusing on developing and improving information technology infrastructure and shared information systems to enhance the quality of public service delivery; strengthen interaction between citizens, businesses, and the government; and improve the efficiency of government operations.
To improve the quality of service to citizens and businesses, and to build a digital government, Tam Son town, Song Lo district, has focused on investing in and upgrading its computer systems and network connections to support its work. The People's Committees of communes, wards, and towns, and agencies and units in the province are connected to broadband internet and dedicated data transmission networks; the percentage of households with fixed broadband internet reaches 90%.
The online video conferencing system in 136 communes, wards, and towns is operating effectively, serving meetings from the central level down to the provincial, district, and commune levels.

To further enhance the effectiveness of the digital transformation model, localities are continuing to strengthen communication efforts to help people understand the benefits of digital transformation, establish habits of online transactions, and use smart devices and computers as essential tools directly serving their lives; they are also focusing on investing in upgrading information technology infrastructure according to the roadmap for applying and implementing digital transformation, meeting the requirements for resolving administrative procedures for citizens and businesses.
This will contribute to accelerating the progress and effectiveness of digital transformation at the commune level, keeping pace with the general trend of digital transformation; striving to be among the top 10 provinces and cities nationwide in digital transformation by 2024.
