Accelerating disbursement of public investment capital in the last months of 2025

According to the report of the Department of Finance, the results of the implementation of the State budget investment plan for 2025 up to April 30, 2025, disbursed about 854.6 billion VND, reaching 14.22% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister and 14.2% assigned by the Provincial People's Council (decreased compared to the same period - disbursed up to April 30, 2024 about 771 billion VND, reaching 18.47% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister, reaching 18.14% of the plan assigned by the Provincial People's Council).

Estimated disbursement by May 31, 2025 is nearly 1,808 billion VND, reaching 30.08% of the Prime Minister's plan and 30.04% of the plan assigned by the Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, localities, departments, and branches presented difficulties and problems in the process of implementing projects and disbursing public investment capital in the area.

In his speech, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh requested that localities, departments, branches and sectors speed up the implementation of the 2025 public investment plan and promote the disbursement of public investment capital to contribute to socio -economic recovery and development.

Heads of departments, branches, sectors, Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities need to resolutely and focus on implementing tasks and solutions, specifically: The Department of Agriculture and Environment closely coordinates with relevant units to promptly handle problems and difficulties of investors related to land valuation procedures and compensation plans.

The Department of Finance shall advise competent authorities to adjust and supplement the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 and 2025 from projects that are unlikely to fully disburse the allocated capital to new projects that have completed investment procedures according to regulations and projects that need additional capital to speed up project implementation progress.

The Department of Construction shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, relevant departments and branches, and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to urgently implement the acceleration of mine licensing, increase mine capacity and strengthen the management, exploitation and transportation of minerals that are common construction materials to serve important national projects and key projects of the Transport sector.
