Green moss growing on the rocks of Nam O
Since the morning of February 20, many people have flocked to the Nam O beach, Hoa Hiep Nam ward, Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city to admire the beautiful moss growing on the green rocks.
Towards noon, when the clouds are dispelled by the sunlight, the moss field appears more beautiful with its green color like a carpet spread over the rocks.
Locals say that early spring after Tet is when moss grows green on the rocks at Nam O reef.
Moss season here grows for more than half a month and then fades.
Beautiful green moss beach
The most beautiful time is at dawn or dusk, when the tide recedes, revealing the deep green moss-covered rocks. Looking from above, moss grows naturally on the rocks lying half submerged, half floating on the sea surface, the foam of the waves crashing against the rocks looks very beautiful.
Ms. Phan Thi Mai Phuong (32 years old, residing in Thua Thien Hue ) said that she saw a beautiful picture of Nam O moss field posted on social networks, so she and a group of friends went here for a spring outing.
"Watching the green moss on the rocks, taking pictures with the blue sea, rocks and green moss, there's nothing better" - Ms. Phuong said.
On this occasion, local people's services such as parking, selling soft drinks, coffee, and food and drink flourish.
