In 2024, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment will recruit 3,350 students, with an additional admission method based on thinking assessment test scores.
Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment announced on the morning of February 26 that the number of new students recruited is mainly at the Hanoi campus with 3,280 people. For the Thanh Hoa branch, the school only recruits 70 students. Of which, the largest quota is for the Land Management major with 450 students, followed by Environmental Resources Management and Environmental Engineering Technology, with 350 and 250 respectively.
This year, the school has 6 admission methods, including: direct admission, high school graduation exam scores, academic records, special admission according to the school's own regulations, Hanoi National University's Competency Assessment exam scores and Hanoi University of Science and Technology's Thinking Assessment.

If choosing to apply through the school's own admission method, candidates must meet one of the following conditions: study for three years at a specialized school; graduate from high school and have an English certificate TOEFL IBT from 64/120 points or IELTS from 5.0/9.0 or higher; graduate from high school and have excellent academic performance in all three years of high school.
With the high school transcript admission method, the admission score is calculated on a 30-point scale, which is the average of the scores of the subjects in the admission group (both grade 11 and semester 1 of grade 12), plus priority points (if any).
For English Language, candidates need to have an English score of 5 or higher, based on high school exam scores, and 7 or higher based on academic records.
