Ho Chi Minh City National University informs about the second round of capacity assessment test scores, see results here

On June 12, the HCM City National University's Competency Assessment Examination Council met and approved the results of the second round of the 2025 exam.

Candidates for the competency assessment test

In the second round of the 2025 Competency Assessment Exam, a total of 92,246 candidates took the exam at 34 exam clusters and 80 exam locations located in 11 provinces and cities from the Central to the Southwest regions. In total, 152,792 candidates took the exam in both rounds, equivalent to 223,179 exams. The distribution of the 2025 Competency Assessment Exam scores is close to the standard distribution, with a wide range of scores that helps to classify candidates' abilities well, facilitating the admission work of schools.

Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Center for Testing and Assessment of Training Quality of Ho Chi Minh City National University, said that the score distribution of the second round of 2025 is close to the standard distribution, the score range is wide, and there is a slight "rightward" tendency compared to the first round. This may be due to the following reasons:

Firstly, out of the total number of candidates taking the second round of the exam, there are more than 65,000 candidates who have taken the first round of the exam. This is a group of candidates with good or better ability, with first round exam scores higher than the average;

Second, the second round takes place about two months after the first round, giving candidates more time to review and consolidate their knowledge. At the same time, because of the experience in the first round, candidates have more experience in taking the test, have better time management skills, and a better exam room mentality, so their test results can be improved.

The results of the second round of the 2025 capacity assessment exam will be announced on the website https://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn/dgnl/ on June 16.

Electronic exam result certificates will be issued from June 23.

Currently, more than 110 higher education institutions have registered to use the results of the VNU-HCM National High School Graduation Exam for admission in 2025.
