Review of the content of Towards Fire episode 3

In episode 3 of Going Towards Fire, Ha rushed to the hospital when she heard that her mother was in an emergency. Upon arriving, after just a few questions, she realized that her mother was pretending to be sick to force her to go on a blind date. Before that, Ha had to leave her most recent date hanging because she was busy with an urgent task.

Dissatisfied, Ms. Vinh even went to Ha's office, blaming the leadership for hiring her, and even asking for her to be fired. She said that this job made it difficult for Ha to have a stable life and start a family. In fact, Ha had followed in the footsteps of her father, who used to be the leader of the fire department.

“What kind of girl is this, with dirty clothes, rolling around day and night from one fire to another. Life and death are irrelevant, her skin is chapped,” Ha’s mother complained, “I just want her to have a stable job and a decent husband.”

Although Ha's boss tried to explain that she was an excellent firefighter who had won many awards from the agency, the city and the Ministry, Ms. Vinh was not moved. She warned that Ha had to quit her job and get married within 6 months.

During an activity to disseminate fire prevention and fighting knowledge to students and local people, Thang and his teammates were warmly welcomed by everyone. Thang's wife also brought her daughter to attend. She loved and understood her husband's work very much. However, when he returned home, the atmosphere in Thang's family was still tense. His mother-in-law complained:

“What are you thinking? Being a father and being away all day, being a father and not being recognized by your child, the more you think about it, the more heartbreaking it is,” Thang’s mother-in-law said harshly. “If you had listened to me back then, you would have been happy now. Your husband is always worrying about other people’s business, and can’t help at home.”

Thang apologized to his mother-in-law for making his wife work so hard, but he still tried his best every day for his family. If he quit his job, the family's income would be greatly affected. Thang's wife understood this, but she still worried about his safety every time he was on duty.

During a serious fire, Duc Anh suddenly had a mental breakdown when he remembered his brother's death, causing him to react slowly. While carrying the boy down the stairs, he was crushed by a heavy object but still tried his best to save the victim. Meanwhile, Thang carried another boy, but in the end, one of the two children did not survive. The whole team was very sad, especially Duc Anh.

In another development, Long's mother visited her son and was warmly welcomed by his teammates. She loved Long very much and supported his work, even bringing specialties to the team. However, with her carefree personality, Long made his teammates feel awkward when telling Thang's family story. Before leaving, she told Long to try hard and find a girlfriend soon.
