Despite the criticism, the captain stressed that there were still people who sent their thanks and encouragement to the team. To boost morale and fitness, he asked the team to wear full equipment and run 10 laps around the field.

At home, Thang's wife was worried when she heard negative comments about the fire department, saying that they were unprofessional and slow to respond. When she saw her husband coming home, she frankly shared:

"I can't take it anymore. All these years of worrying every time you go out on a mission, all these nights of anxiously waiting, wondering if my husband will return or not. She was not only worried but also upset that her daughter was isolated and bullied at school because of her father. Finally, Thang's wife asked him to choose between his family and his job. She packed her things and moved back to her parents' house, leaving behind divorce papers.

Despite the pain, Thang still did not hesitate to rush to the scene when a new mission came up.

Ha’s mother was furious when she heard someone badmouthing firefighters at the sandwich shop. Without hesitation, she argued with the other person, leading to a fight that left her eye swollen. Despite this, she still loved and protected her daughter.

Ha recalls the moment Minh Long saved her from the fire. On her vacation, she took him out, but while they were having fun, Minh Long was "preached" by her.

This time, Minh Long frankly expressed his feelings to Ha: "I like you. I swear I will be loyal to you. I will be more mature, not talk nonsense anymore to make you worry or be sad because of me. I don't know when I started liking you, probably since the first time I went to war. At that time I thought you were cool and extremely beautiful."

Minh Long wanted a chance with Ha, but she did not answer right away and wanted to think about it. Meanwhile, Ha's mother secretly sought out the team leader to ask for information about Minh Long, believing that he and her daughter were dating. She did not force Ha to quit her job, but instead, tried to find a way to help her daughter get married soon.

Duc Anh and Hong Ngoc go on a date, but when he wants to kiss Ngoc, painful memories of fire come flooding back. He remembers the day his brother died in a fire many years ago, when he could only cry for help.

Duc Anh said: "That day, I didn't want you to feel the same way as me, so I didn't contact you anymore. I thought if I didn't contact you, you would quickly forget."

However, these words did not make Ngoc feel comfortable. She thought Duc Anh was imposing his thoughts on others. She also questioned him about whether he was still angry with his father.

Duc Anh confessed that he was afraid of listening to the piano, because every time he heard it, painful memories would reappear, along with his father's angry eyes. To his father, Duc Anh's older brother was the most beloved son, and he felt that he could have it or not have it.

Ngoc disagreed and advised Duc Anh to be brave enough to face his father. Finally, she expressed her feelings: "I don't want to wait any longer. Do you agree?". The two exchanged a sweet kiss, mending their broken relationship.

Returning home, Duc Anh mustered up the courage to touch the piano, which had haunted him. This action surprised and delighted his mother. She advised her husband not to remain silent anymore but to talk to his son.

For the first time, Duc Anh's father explained: "I never blamed you, nor did I blame you for your brother's death." Misunderstandings in the family were resolved, bringing about a bond after many years of separation.
