Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade announces the quality assurance threshold (floor score) according to admission methods (including priority points for subjects and regional priority if any), specifically as follows:

Formula for calculating scores according to each admission method:

Admission method based on 2025 high school graduation exam results (Original): DG = DM1 + DM2 + DM3 + Preferred score (if any).

Admission method uses high school academic results (Transcript Score - HSC) of grades 10, 11 and 12: HSC = HSC1 + HSC2 + HSC3 + Preferred Score (if any).

Method 3 of admission uses the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2025.

National High School Graduation Score = National High School Graduation Score + Preferred Score (if any).

Admission method: Exam results of specialized competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education combined with high school study results according to subject groups corresponding to each major

Average score = (0.5 × Average score + 0.25 × Average score 1 + 0.25 × Average score 2 ) × 3 + Preferred score (if any).

Ho Chi Minh City Open University has just announced the floor score for 2025. Specifically, the floor score of Ho Chi Minh City Open University is as follows:

On the evening of July 23, Ho Chi Minh City Banking University announced the minimum scores for admission methods in 2025.

Accordingly, candidates graduating in 2024 must have an average score of 6.5 or higher in semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1 and semester 2 of grade 12.

1. For the combined admission method, the minimum score is 75 (on a scale of 150) and applies to all majors/training programs for admission.

Candidates graduating in 2025 must have good or better results in semester 2 of grade 11 and semester 1 and semester 2 of grade 12.

Admission score is the converted score according to the subject combination of 3 semesters plus the converted score according to other criteria (if any) and the total converted priority score (if any). Priority score for subjects and regions is converted according to a 150-point scale.

Converted score according to other criteria = Converted score of international English certificate + Converted score of excellent student selection exam + Converted score of specialized/gifted school + Converted score of excellent student classification.

2. Regarding the VSAT exam score review method in 2025

The floor score is 225 points (450-point scale) including priority admission points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and component scores of subjects in the combination >= 15 points, applied to all majors/programs using the method of considering the results of the VSAT computer-based university entrance exam in 2025 (for English Language major, English subject multiplied by 2 converts to a 450-point scale).

3. Regarding the method of considering high school graduation exam scores in 2025

The minimum score is 18 points (30-point scale), including priority admission points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, applicable to all majors/programs (for the English Language major, special program and standard regular program, English subject is multiplied by a factor of 2 and converted to a 30-point scale).

The International Bachelor's program with a partner-granted degree has an admission method of reviewing transcripts and interviews, not applying the method of considering high school graduation exam results in 2025.

4. Regulations for Law, Economic Law, Economic Law (partial English)

The minimum total admission score is 18 points (calculated on a 30-point scale, for other methods it is converted to a 30-point scale). Admission combinations with Math and Literature, or Math or Literature must achieve a minimum of 6 points or more (on a 10-point scale, for other methods, Math and Literature scores are converted to a corresponding 10-point scale).

The threshold to ensure input quality for the admission method based on high school exam scores in 2025 (method 6) at the Banking Academy is 21 points (including incentive points and priority points, if any).

Difference between combinations in the admission method using high school graduation scores in 2025.

Banking Academy uses 08 combinations: A00, A01, D01, D07, D09, D14, C00, C03 in the admission method using high school graduation scores in 2025, in which the original combination is D01.

The combinations in the admission method using the 2025 high school graduation exam scores have the following difference in admission scores between the combinations and the original combination D01:

Combinations: A00, A01, D01, D07, D09, D14 have no difference in points compared to combination D01.

Combination C00, C03 has a higher admission score than combination D01 by 2.5 points, on a 30-point scale.

This year, the University of Commerce set the minimum score for the high school graduation exam at 20, the same as last year. This is the total of three graduation exams calculated on a scale of 30, including priority points for subjects and regions. Candidates must achieve at least this level to be eligible to apply for admission.

The school also announced the conversion table of standard scores between methods. Accordingly, candidates who score 20-22.5 points on the graduation exam will be equivalent to 20-25 points for admission combined with high school transcripts and IELTS, 80-89 points for the ability assessment (HSA) and 50-58 points for the thinking assessment (TSA).

This year, the National Economics University set the minimum score for the 2025 high school graduation exam at 22 points for all four admission groups, including: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English) and there is no difference in admission scores between the admission groups.
