Dien Bien breaks through with a sharp increase in 10 points in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam

GD&TĐ - Although the average score of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam decreased slightly, Dien Bien still recorded 118 scores of 10, nearly double that of the 2024 exam.

In the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, the entire Dien Bien province had 118 papers with a score of 10, nearly double that of 2024 (64 scores of 10). The number of papers with 8 points or more reached 4,590/29,615, a rate of 15.50%. The papers with high scores were concentrated in the subjects of Literature, History and Geography.

This is one of the outstanding results in the context of the province's average score reaching 5.88 - 0.26 points lower than last year but still maintaining stability in the general downward trend nationwide.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Dien Bien province, the graduation rate reached 99.53%.

This year's exam took place safely and seriously at 28 exam sites, with more than 7,500 candidates and more than 1,500 invigilators and teachers.

The Department of Education and Training is expected to announce the graduation recognition results on July 18; candidates can submit their appeals by August 2. The registration and adjustment period for university and college admissions lasts from July 16 to July 28; candidates can make unlimited changes within the above time frame.
