Long Bien District is located at the northeastern gateway of Hanoi , has the largest area (about 60.38km2) and is the only district located on the left bank of the Red River.
Long Bien has many important traffic hubs including roads, railways and waterways, which are considered important conditions to help the central area of Hanoi quickly connect with the northern and northeastern provinces.
Long Bien District is also considered the key economic triangle of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh thanks to its many potentials for vibrant development and rapid international economic integration.
