Phuc Loi, Viet Hung, Bo De, and Long Bien wards are ready to respond to storm Wipha.

On July 21, the Party Committees of Phuc Loi, Viet Hung, Bo De, and Long Bien wards directed concentrated measures to respond to storm No. 3 (Wipha).

The Party Committees of the above wards assigned the leaders of the People's Committees of the wards to immediately review, fully develop and deploy plans and scenarios for storm response and flood prevention according to the "4 on-site" principle, arrange 24/7 duty, prepare emergency response plans, and plans to evacuate households in dangerous areas (deteriorated apartment buildings; areas at high risk of deep flooding) to safe places. At the same time, there are plans to support temporary accommodation, food, and necessities for people who have to evacuate, ensuring a stable life for the people.

In Phuc Loi ward, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Council Nguyen The Thach directed: "Organize 24/7 duty, especially the police, military, and dike protection forces according to regulations, monitor storms and rains and organize response measures."

The leaders of Phuc Loi ward also noted, updated fully, and promptly informed people about natural disasters (storms) on all existing information channels of the ward (Electronic information portal; Ward information page on Facebook, general Zalo groups, radio stations...) so that people can proactively respond to ensure safety; propagate and guide people on response measures and skills, especially strong winds, floods, fallen trees... Maintain a smooth communication system with residential groups in the ward.

The Party Committees and People's Committees of Viet Hung, Long Bien and Bo De wards also directed the mobilization of the entire political system to respond and implement plans to prevent and combat storm No. 3 according to plan. Previously, the People's Committees of the wards had proactively deployed the dredging of sewers and drainage ditches; and pruned tree branches to prevent them from falling.
