EVNNPC fully completed the targets for the first 9 months of 2025

In the first 9 months of 2025, although the North was continuously affected by major storms such as Wipha (storm No. 3), Kaijji (storm No. 5) and Bualoi (storm No. 10) causing severe damage to the power system, the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) still fully completed the planning targets assigned by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN)...

Providing safe and stable power supply. give 17 provinces and cities in Northern Vietnam

In the first nine months of 2025, EVNNPC ensured a safe and stable electricity supply, serving socio-economic development and the lives of people in 17 provinces and cities in the North. Emergency response teams promptly responded to and quickly mitigated the consequences of natural disasters, restoring power to customers as quickly as possible, while also ensuring electricity supply for holidays, major political events, festivals, and peak periods of hot weather.

Specifically, EVNNPC's commercial electricity output in September reached 9.4 billion kWh, an increase of 15.65% compared to the same period in 2024; the cumulative output for the first nine months reached 80.05 billion kWh, an increase of 7.24%, equivalent to 73.5% of the annual plan (108.9 billion kWh). Electricity losses remained low at 3.7%, a decrease of 0.09% compared to the same period and 0.3% lower than planned. By the end of September, 100% of communes and 99.59% of rural households in the region had access to the national power grid, contributing to the socio -economic development of remote and disadvantaged areas.

In implementing the Prime Minister 's Directive 20/CT-TTg on electricity saving, EVNNPC has deployed a comprehensive set of energy saving solutions. Electricity savings in September reached 207.46 million kWh, and the cumulative savings for the first nine months reached 1,871.27 million kWh (accounting for 2.28% of commercial electricity), contributing to ensuring national energy security.

To date, EVNNPC's electronic payment rate has reached 98.03%, an increase of 7.8% compared to the same period last year and exceeding the plan by 3.03%; revenue through cashless channels reached 99.7%. 12 out of 17 units have completed 100% of the elimination of cash collection counters, with only 1,022 counters remaining in particularly difficult areas of 5 mountainous provinces.

Despite unfavorable weather and construction conditions, EVNNPC has strived to overcome difficulties and focus on accelerating the progress of projects. In the first nine months, the Corporation energized 54 110kV projects and commenced construction on 35 new projects, including many key projects that contribute to improving power supply capacity, preventing overload, and meeting the socio-economic development needs of localities.

EVNNPC is currently implementing eight key projects, including: a GIS-based power grid management tool, a centralized data warehouse, data analysis tools for investment, technical, materials, and human resource management, and power planning and service management software. Simultaneously, six automation tasks are being strongly implemented, such as remote substation monitoring, application of DMS for medium-voltage grids, application of AI in image monitoring and line temperature monitoring, development of digital substations, and power quality monitoring.

To improve business efficiency and customer service, the Corporation focuses on four main tasks: upgrading the customer care system, applying barcode technology to materials management, converting to remote meter data reading, and piloting advanced metering infrastructure (AMI). Simultaneously, EVNNPC is implementing three prominent tasks: digitizing safety briefing records, developing safety quiz games, and applying AI in field monitoring.

Continue to put the customer at the center. and promote implement digital transformation

In the fourth quarter of 2025, EVNNPC will continue to focus intensely on comprehensively achieving its production and business targets, digital transformation, and ensuring a safe and stable electricity supply to serve important national and local holidays and socio-political events.

The Corporation directed its units to accelerate the progress of investment projects for load balancing, renovation, and upgrading of the 110kV and medium-low voltage power grids; strengthen inspection and handling of existing problems; prevent incidents early and remotely; optimize operation; and reduce power losses. Technological solutions such as AI, SCADA, and NEMO continue to be applied in inspection, analysis, incident management, and power supply reliability assessment.

Occupational safety, disaster prevention, and fire prevention efforts have been strengthened; units have proactively developed response plans and quickly mitigated the consequences of natural disasters, ensuring the earliest possible restoration of electricity supply to customers. EVNNPC also resolutely handles violations of power grid corridors and promotes electricity safety awareness in the community.

In the business and customer service sector, EVNNPC strives to comprehensively fulfill all targets assigned by EVN, improve service quality, strengthen customer care, and implement gratitude and social welfare activities such as "EVN Pink Week," "Lighting up rural roads," providing free electrical repairs for poor households, and promoting safe, economical, and efficient electricity use.

Simultaneously, the Corporation is promoting digital transformation and innovation, accelerating GIS projects, centralized data warehouses, and digitizing bidding and office processes; organizing training in AI and data analytics; and collaborating on technology with major domestic corporations. EVNNPC also encourages the development of self-sufficient rooftop solar power, supporting customers and businesses towards using green and sustainable energy.

These efforts affirm EVNNPC's determination to build a modern, intelligently managed, and customer-centric digital enterprise, making a positive contribution to the digital transformation and sustainable development of Vietnam's electricity industry.
