Attendees included: members of the Executive Committee, members of the Secretariat of the Association; and representatives of the leadership of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations .
At the Conference, delegates heard a report summarizing the work of 2025 and discussed the direction of activities for 2026; heard a report on the personnel situation of the Executive Committee, the restructuring of the Association's leadership, and exchanged views on the plan for organizing the Congress for the 2026-2030 term.

According to the Association's summary report, 2025 is a year of special significance, marking the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (December 2, 1960 - December 2, 2025) and has been designated as the "Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Year". The Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association has implemented a series of commemorative activities with profound political and social significance, having a strong impact throughout the country.

The most outstanding highlight, clearly demonstrating the strength of people-to-people exchanges in this anniversary year, is the Association's active participation in the campaign to support Cuba, "65 Years of Vietnam-Cuba Friendship," launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
The program quickly became a widespread movement, setting a record for community strength and exceptional solidarity. Just 30 hours after its launch (August 13, 2025), the amount of donations reached 65 billion VND; after 48 hours, the figure doubled.

By October 16, 2025, the total amount received reached nearly 650 billion VND, almost 10 times the initial minimum target. This included contributions from over 230 members and families of Vietnamese alumni in Cuba, totaling 418,100,000 VND.
At the conference, delegates also discussed and outlined the direction of activities for 2026.
