The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that today, September 13, the weather in the North and Thanh Hoa will have showers and thunderstorms in some places, and heavy rain in mountainous areas in the late afternoon and at night.

South Central Coast, Central Highlands and South have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy to very heavy rain in some places.

Other areas have scattered showers and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

At sea, due to the influence of low pressure, the sea area from Dak Lak to Ca Mau, from Ca Mau to An Giang , the Gulf of Thailand, the central area of the East Sea, the southern area of the East Sea (including Truong Sa special zone) will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, strong winds of level 6-7 and waves over 2m high. All vessels operating in the above areas are at risk of being affected by tornadoes and strong winds.
