After the city leaders intervened, along with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Quang Nam Football Development Joint Stock Company, to find a way to "keep" the Quang Nam football team, a number of businesses in Da Nang agreed to provide financial support to maintain the team.

However, these businesses do not have enough potential to ensure funding of up to more than 100 billion VND to "feed" a professional football team. Therefore, by the end of the afternoon of July 23, 2025, Quang Nam Football Development Joint Stock Company sent a document requesting VPF to create conditions for Quang Nam Club to find more sponsors to maintain the team.

“Up to now, with the attention of relevant authorities, Quang Nam Football Club is actively negotiating with a number of investors to identify resources to continue operating the club in the coming time,” the document of Quang Nam Football Development Joint Stock Company stated.

With the hope that the Quang Nam team will continue playing and not disrupt the pre-season preparations of other teams when the match schedule has been issued and the new season is about to start, the leaders of VFF and VPF have created conditions for Quang Nam Football Development Joint Stock Company to find more sponsors, but as of 5:00 p.m. on July 24, there has still been no further information about additional sponsors accompanying the Quang Nam team.

VFF Executive Committee takes action

Whether Quang Nam Club will continue to stay in the professional playground or have to dissolve and merge with SHB Da Nang depends entirely on whether they can find more sponsors or not. And with recent developments, it can be seen that the Quang Nam team will find it difficult to survive, despite the enthusiastic support from the city leaders as well as VFF and VPF.

VFF has received a report from VPF about Quang Nam team requesting to disband. Then VPF extended the deadline for the team (until July 24), so VFF has not yet held a meeting of the VFF Executive Committee. It is known that the VFF Executive Committee will discuss and possibly decide to choose a suitable team that meets the criteria to replace Quang Nam team. Among them, the candidates include Binh Phuoc, PVF-CAND, Binh Dinh.
