Regarding the incident of a child suspected of being abused by a teacher at Gia Thuy Kindergarten (Bo De Ward) on July 10, the People's Committee of Bo De Ward has directed relevant departments to verify and report specifically on the incident.
The report stated that the Board of Directors of Gia Thuy Kindergarten has temporarily suspended two teachers of the class to serve the verification and investigation of competent authorities.
According to the report of Bo De Ward People's Committee, the Ward People's Committee has worked with the Principal of Gia Thuy Kindergarten and related teachers; requested teachers to write reports, clarify the contents according to the reflection.
The ward People's Committee requested the school to hold a meeting of the entire pedagogical council to seriously learn from experience and thoroughly disseminate teachers' ethics and compliance with professional regulations of the industry to all cadres, teachers and staff of the school.

After receiving the report of the incident, Bo De Ward Police inspected and verified the content of the report, collected documents and data, and coordinated with medical facilities to request an appraisal to determine the exact nature of the incident. The Department of Culture and Society coordinated with the Ward Police to verify and grasp the incident to advise and propose solutions to support children.
Bo De Ward Health Station also sent staff to coordinate with units and children's families to check and monitor their health status, and have solutions to support and ensure children's safety.
According to the initial verification results, on the evening of July 8, the family of Ms. HKT, the biological mother of TKL, went to the Bo De Ward Police Station to report the incident: On the afternoon of July 5, Ms. HKT picked up TKL at Gia Thuy Kindergarten. When she returned home, she saw that her child was sad, so she checked him and discovered that he had bruises on his back, so she took him to the National Children's Hospital for examination.
Through examination, the doctor determined TKL's condition as follows: The child was awake, no edema, pink mucous membranes, and on the upper back there were patches of skin with scattered internal hemorrhages. Respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, nervous, ear, nose and throat and other organs did not detect anything special.
After receiving the report, Bo De Ward Police established a case file, coordinated with the People's Procuracy of Region 5 to conduct a crime scene investigation, organize an investigation, verify the incident and take the child for injury assessment, but the results are not yet available.
Based on the results of the specific investigation and verification, the People's Committee of Bo De Ward will consider and handle the responsibilities of related individuals according to regulations.
