Dinh Viet Tuong (23 years old) - a young man suffering from TICS syndrome that causes his body and facial muscles to constantly twitch - is still determined to continue his journey.

Despite facing many difficulties in pursuing his passion for music , Tuong recently participated in a music show for the first time as a guest. That was the music night on May 23 at the Youth Theater, Ho Chi Minh City by singer and musician Bui Cong Nam.

'The wall is amazing'

In the past few days, clips, images, and shares about Dinh Viet Tuong in the concert night have gone viral on social networks, especially on Threads. Because the concert took place on the evening of May 23, audiences have refrained from posting videos on the two days of national mourning and waited until May 26 to start posting.

Standing on stage, Dinh Viet Tuong was nervous, twitching and sweating profusely as he tried to talk to the audience. At one point, Tuong burst into tears because he was moved by everyone's cheers. Bui Cong Nam stepped out to hug and encourage Tuong, talking to him to guide him.

Dinh Viet Tuong shared with the audience: "I am a very emotional person. I cry easily. I have sung 3 or 4 songs here, then I had to stop crying because I couldn't sing." The audience encouraged him: "It's okay, it's okay."

"Nam was very happy to see Tuong standing on the stage of a competition, Tuong's happiness covered up all the things Tuong was facing. Congratulations Tuong, you did it today" - Bui Cong Nam said and patted his younger brother's shoulder.

Dinh Viet Tuong said that when he received the invitation from Bui Cong Nam - a talented actor of Anh trai vu ngan cong gai , he was very happy because this was "a very grand stage that I never thought I would have the opportunity to set foot on".

During the concert, the two sang a duet of the song I Am Extraordinary, composed by Bui Cong Nam. The song carries a strong message of confidence and aspiration to rise up, and is also very suitable for Tuong's voice.

Dinh Viet Tuong continues his singing dream

He suddenly got this disease in 7th grade, since then it has not improved and cannot be cured, he can only live with it. When he is nervous or stressed, the disease gets worse and has made Tuong miserable many times.

Despite that, Tuong is still very passionate about singing, dreaming of performing on stage. He has participated in the qualifying rounds of many fashion and singing shows, always receiving attention and encouragement from everyone, but still has not had many big opportunities.

Most recently, Tuong participated in the qualifying round of the Rookie of the Year program, entered the top 100 but could not go further. He also had an inspirational dance performance with the audience.
