Working group of the Ministry of Science and Technology inspects the operation of two-level local government in Tuyen Quang

On August 15, Working Group No. 3 of the Ministry of Science and Technology had a working session in the province on the implementation of two-level local government operations.

At the meeting, relevant units reported on the achieved results and proposed solutions to improve the efficiency of local government operations at two levels, meeting development requirements in the new period.

According to the report of the Department of Science and Technology, implementing Plan No. 02-KH/BCĐTW dated June 19, 2025 of the Central Steering Committee on science, technology and innovation development, up to now, the whole province has completed 25/33 tasks; organized and deployed 124 commune-level community digital technology teams, 1,856 village-level community digital technology teams in the province and continued to review and improve in accordance with the 2-level local government model in the coming time.

Previously, the delegation had a survey of the activities at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, the Public Administration Service Center of Minh Xuan Ward and My Lam Ward. Through the survey, the delegation highly appreciated the operation of the two-level local government model in the province, especially in the application of technology and digital transformation.

Through the working session and survey, Working Group No. 3 also promptly grasped the difficulties and obstacles in the operation process, especially issues related to decentralization, delegation of power, digital transformation and implementation of administrative procedures on science, technology and innovation. This information will be an important basis for the Ministry of Science and Technology to synthesize and advise the Government to adjust and perfect the legal framework for the two-level local government model.
