On November 1, the working delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee led by Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung, member of the Presidium, Head of the National Science and Technology Task, former Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, conducted a field survey in Ninh Binh province to serve the research work of the national scientific topic "Promoting the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations for the People to be the masters in the new development period of the country".
Receiving the delegation, Mr. Le Van Kien, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province, gave an overview of the geographical location and socio -economic development achievements of the province in recent times, and affirmed: The results achieved by the locality demonstrate the solidarity, unity and efforts of the Party Committee, government and people in the province.
At the working session, leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province and city presented reports clarifying solutions in promoting the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels to ensure the people's right to mastery.
According to Mr. Kien, in recent years, the people's mastery has been increasingly consolidated and promoted through the organization and activities of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province. 'The Fatherland Front at all levels has done a good job of gathering and uniting people from all walks of life, building an increasingly solid national solidarity bloc; launching campaigns and patriotic emulation movements to mobilize people's participation in local socio-economic development; performing well the role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; focusing on effectively implementing the work of social supervision and criticism, participating in building a clean and strong Party and government', Mr. Kien affirmed.
In addition, Mr. Kien said that the Fatherland Front at all levels has proactively guided people to implement grassroots democracy regulations, village conventions, and residential area conventions; encouraged people to exercise their mastery through the People's Inspection Board, Community Investment Supervision Board, and grassroots mediation teams..., promoting the motto 'People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit'.
During the working session, delegates and members of the delegation discussed and clarified some contents on lessons learned, directions and solutions in the coming time of Ninh Binh to continue promoting the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations for people to be masters; at the same time, proposed and recommended to the Central Government some contents on mechanisms and policies.
Concluding the working session, Head of the working group Nguyen Huu Dung highly appreciated the preparation of the reports by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province. According to Mr. Dung, the contents discussed at the working session provided the delegation with very practical information, data and evidence to serve the research and completion of the topic.
Regarding the national scientific topic 'Promoting the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations so that people can be masters in the new development period of the country', Mr. Dung said that it has been deployed since 2023. After 1 year of implementation, the Steering Committee is conducting research and surveys in a number of typical localities to perfect the scientific and practical basis for the topic.
