Ton Nu My Ngoc from Da Nang Swimming and Diving Club is one of the most notable female athletes at the Aqua Warriors Quang Tri 2025 tournament, when she and her teammate Ha Van Minh Huy won the Olympic Aqua Warriors Relay mixed doubles championship.

This is a content that gathers many strong athletes to participate, in which the couple Le Thi Trang and Ngo Manh Cuong are considered strong candidates for the championship of this content when at the Aqua Warriors Halong Bay 2025 tournament held last April, both of them convincingly won first place.
However, a big surprise happened when Ton Nu My Ngoc quickly defeated Le Thi Trang in the sea swimming competition (1.5km distance) to win first place and create a big advantage for teammate Ha Van Minh Huy to break away in the 10km race that followed.

"It's not that we weren't in good shape, but that my opponents were too good. They were both younger and more physically fit," athlete Le Thi Trang said after failing to successfully defend her championship title at the tournament held in Dong Hoi ward (Quang Tri).
Notably, Ton Nu My Ngoc is currently a member of the national swimming team. The girl born in 2003 has been practicing at the Da Nang Swimming and Diving Club since she was 6 years old and her talent quickly inherited from her seniors like Anh Vien and Le Thi Trang in the national swimming team, to become the core in preparation for the 33rd SEA Games which will take place in Thailand in December this year.

"I am very happy to win this tournament because this will be a motivation for me to continue to practice hard and hopefully achieve good results at the upcoming SEA Games," Ton Nu My Ngoc told Dan Tri reporter when she returned to her hometown Da Nang earlier this week to join the team to prepare for the SEA Games.
Although not possessing the "bird-falling-fish-diving" beauty of My Ngoc, Nguyen Thi Kim Cuong continued to impress fans when she won the Olympic Aqua Warriors championship (solo competition for women) with a time of (1 hour 14 minutes 56 seconds), 15 minutes ahead of the runner-up Nguyen Thi Khanh Ly.

Kim Cuong is no stranger to Aqua Warriors tournaments as she won the championship at the tournament held in Van Don in September 2024. At the Aqua Warriors Halong Bay 2025 tournament in April, Kim Cuong expressed regret at not being able to attend the tournament due to being busy competing in the national championship taking place at the same time.
However, in her return to Aqua Warriors Quang Tri 2025, the athlete born in 2000 continued to prove that she was completely "out of her league" compared to other athletes to finish first in the event considered the most difficult of the tournament.

"The championship is a reward for my hard work. After this tournament, I will be in Da Nang to join the team to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games with the goal of winning a gold medal," Kim Cuong said after her championship.
Another female face that also made a strong impression at the Aqua Warriors Quang Tri 2025 tournament was female athlete Nguyen Thu Trang - who was crowned champion in the Open Water Swimming event (1.5km sea swimming).

Notably, the championship did not bring too many emotions to Thu Trang, as she was too familiar with standing on the highest podium at the tournament. With the title just won at the Aqua Warriors Quang Tri 2025, Thu Trang marked the record of a female athlete scoring a hat-trick of championships at the tournament when she also stood on the highest podium twice before at Aqua Warriors Van Don in September 2024 and Aqua Warriors Halong Bay in April 2025.
The 28-year-old athlete confirmed that she will continue to aim for the 4th title when preparing to participate in Aqua Warriors Van Don taking place at the end of September.
Meanwhile, at the Quang Tri International Marathon 2025 - Camel Cup, the most impressive face in this tournament was female athlete Le Minh Tuan when she finished the 42km distance with a time of 3 hours 16 minutes 44 seconds.
Le Minh Tuan is a very familiar runner in the amateur running community in Vietnam. She is one of 3 Vietnamese female amateur athletes to achieve sub 3, along with Ha Thi Hau and Chi Nguyen. Le Minh Tuan's best achievement is 2 hours 58 minutes 38 seconds at the Hai Phong marathon at the end of 2023.

In 2024, Le Minh Tuan won the full marathon distance at the tournament in Ha Long (3 hours 10 minutes 53 seconds), won the Longbien Marathon (3 hours 7 minutes 59 seconds) and achieved the best result of the season at the Hanoi Heritage Marathon 2024 (3 hours 4 minutes 33 seconds). Most recently in 2025, Minh Tuan continued to win the full marathon distance at the Con Son - Kiep Bac tournament (Hai Phong) in February.
Notably, when winning the 42km championship at the Quang Tri International Marathon 2025 - Camel Cup, Le Minh Tuan not only impressed with his "lungless man" acceleration ability but also with his strong will and perseverance throughout the harsh race.

In this tournament, Minh Tuan had an accident with her shoes getting soaked with water and had to take them off and run barefoot for the last 10km. Both her feet were blistered and bleeding due to the gravel and crushed stones on the racetrack, but she was still determined not to give up and finish first.

The image of Minh Tuan collapsing right at the finish line and having to seek medical attention afterwards showed the iron will of the female athlete born in 1984, as she said after regaining consciousness: "This is not my best achievement in tournaments, but it is my best will ever to get this title."
