The Provincial National Assembly Delegation provided emergency support to people in Dong Ky commune affected by floods and rains.

Deputy Heads of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Tran Thi Van and Tran Van Tuan attended and directly presented gifts and encouragement.

Comrade Tran Thi Van, Tran Van Tuan and representatives of DABACO Chicken Breeding One Member Limited Liability Company presented gifts to the government and people of Dong Ky commune.

Due to the impact of storm No. 11 since the morning of October 6, heavy rain has occurred in Dong Ky commune, causing property damage and affecting people's lives. As of 11:00 a.m. on October 8, 2,300 houses in the commune were flooded with water over 1 meter high, of which 1,662 households (6,295 people) had to be evacuated.

In the villages of Trai Dang, Gieng Chanh, Trai Chuoi 1, Trai Chuoi 2, Trai Quan, Dong Lan, many places are completely isolated, with a total of 998 households and 4,082 people. Currently, a part of Dong Ky commune is still isolated, the water level is still high, many households continue to have to evacuate. Due to flooding, domestic water sources are affected, food and drinking water are scarce.

The working group came to encourage and give relief gifts to the people of Dong Ky commune with many necessities including: 10,000 DABACO instant eggs, 1,000 DABACO long breads and 1,000 bottles of mineral water with a total value of 80 million VND.

Comrades: Tran Thi Van and Tran Van Tuan encouraged the people of Dong Ky commune.

Directly giving gifts to some villages in Dong Ky commune, the working group kindly visited and shared the difficulties and losses of the people; encouraged people to make efforts to overcome difficulties and maintain their health. The group also hoped that the local authorities would manage and promptly allocate support resources to the people, ensuring fairness and the right beneficiaries; and synchronously deploy solutions to promptly overcome the consequences of storms and floods, ensuring safety and stabilizing people's lives.

The program has spread the spirit of solidarity and humanity, demonstrating the responsibility of the Party Committee, government and businesses in the province towards the people in localities affected by natural disasters.
