Currently, there are still areas with complex situations that need to be addressed. Specifically, in Hop Thinh commune, the Cau River dike is approximately 20 km long, with about 6 km of overflow; 3 km of embankment has been reinforced to prevent overflow, and two landslide points (25 m and 75 m) have been covered with tarpaulin. In Xuan Cam commune: The Cau River dike is approximately 19 km long, with 10 points of dike overflow; six points have been reinforced to prevent overflow, and the others are being addressed. In Tam Giang commune: Water levels are rising, posing a risk of dike overflow; the forces have completed the embankment reinforcement work and are currently addressing the leakage at the Vong Nguyet culvert.
In Da Mai ward, rising water levels pose a risk of dike breaches, requiring the relocation of 496 households (1,967 people). Regiment 831 (Provincial Military Command) is coordinating with local forces to assist in moving people and property to safe locations.
The total number of personnel involved in handling the incident was 27,262, comprising units from the Provincial Military Command, coordinating units, militia, and rapid response forces. The total number of vehicles mobilized included 64 cars of various types, 35 boats, and other rescue and relief equipment.
