From October 7 to 9, floods caused by storm No. 11 caused great damage to My Thai and Tien Luc communes. In Tien Luc commune, 13/16 villages were completely isolated with nearly 2,000 households and more than 7,000 people. Sharing the difficulties and hardships of local people, comrade Nguyen Thi Huong affirmed that the province always closely monitors the situation, resolutely directs functional agencies, Party committees and local authorities affected by natural disasters to focus on flood and storm prevention and control, overcoming consequences with the highest goal of ensuring the health, life and property of the people, absolutely not letting any people go hungry or have no safe place to live.
He requested local Party committees, authorities and functional agencies to regularly patrol and grasp the weather and water level developments on the river to develop plans and scenarios for each specific situation, ensuring safety for the task force.
Continue to care, share, and encourage families affected by floods; review and mobilize forces and means to access isolated areas, support food, drinking water, medicine, disinfectants; support people to repair damaged houses, arrange temporary accommodation so that people do not suffer.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that people in localities will make efforts to overcome difficulties, actively coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to focus on overcoming the consequences of floods, especially environmental sanitation, disease prevention, early recovery of production and stabilization of life.

On this occasion, the delegation presented more than 920 gift boxes to people in isolated areas of the two communes including: drinking water, milk, instant noodles, cakes; and 10 million VND in support from the province's Social Security Fund for families whose relatives died due to the impact of storm No.
Also here, the leaders of the Provincial Red Cross presented 1,500 gifts including essential necessities such as: Milk, water, sausages, instant noodles, rice... totaling 60 million VND to the people of the two communes. Enterprises including: Bac Giang LGG Garment Corporation, Duy Anh Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company each donated 50 million VND to Tien Luc commune to help people in the flood-affected areas overcome difficulties soon.
