Sharing the difficulties and hardships of local people, comrade Nguyen Thi Huong affirmed that the province always closely monitors the situation, resolutely directs functional agencies, Party committees and local authorities affected by natural disasters to focus on flood and storm prevention and overcoming consequences with the highest goal of ensuring the health, life and property safety of the people, absolutely not letting any people go hungry or have no safe place to live.
He requested local Party committees, authorities and functional agencies to regularly patrol and grasp the weather and water level developments on the river to develop plans and scenarios for each specific situation, ensuring safety for the task force.
Continue to care, share, and encourage families affected by floods; review and mobilize forces and means to access isolated areas, support food, drinking water, medicine, disinfectants; support people to repair damaged houses, arrange temporary accommodation so that people do not suffer.
