On November 28, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor announced that the organization and the Department of Building the Homeland Security Movement ( Ministry of Public Security ) will organize free medical examinations for 15,000 workers and laborers in 7 provinces and cities. Expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
Free cancer screening
Of which, Ho Chi Minh City has 4,000 people, Hai Phong has 2,000 people, Bac Ninh has 2,000 people, Thanh Hoa has 2,000 people, Nghe An has 2,000 people, Lam Dong has 1,000 people and Dong Nai has 2,000 people.
On November 28, in Bac Ninh, the Provincial Labor Federation and the Provincial Police organized a free health check-up for union members at SJ Tech Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Van Trung Industrial Park), towards the 1st Provincial Trade Union Congress (term 2025-2030).
Specifically, from November 28 to December 2, 2,000 union members in 6 enterprises will receive health check-ups and consultations. The health check-up package worth 1.9 million VND/person includes blood cancer screening, Thalassemia screening, thyroid - knee - abdominal ultrasound and general internal examination.
All expenses are sponsored by Conway Joint Stock Company and Medlab Clinic.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen The Nam - Head of the Mass Mobilization Department of the Department of Building the National Security Movement (Ministry of Public Security) - said that Bac Ninh is home to hundreds of thousands of workers who work day and night, making great contributions to the development of the province and the whole country.
Organizing free medical examinations combined with propaganda for the movement "All people protect national security in 2025" therefore has profound humanistic meaning, demonstrating the concern of the police force and trade union organizations for workers' lives.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nam, the police force always considers taking care of workers' lives and health a humane task with rich political and social significance.
Improving "security health"
Recently, the police sector has proactively coordinated with functional agencies and trade union organizations to deploy many models such as "Safe Enterprise - Happy Workers" or self-managed security and order teams in industrial parks.
In particular, the free medical examination program is a continuation of the spirit of serving the people, aiming to take care of health and improve medical and legal knowledge for workers and laborers.

Ms. Do Hong Van - Deputy Head of Labor Relations Department (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor) - said that the union always identifies taking care of the health of union members as a core and regular task.
Over the years, the "Your Health" model with the support of the health sector has been effectively implemented with hundreds of free examinations and consultations each year, bringing practical benefits to tens of thousands of workers.
Integrating crime prevention propaganda into the medical examination program not only takes care of physical health but also enhances "security health", contributing to building a civilized and stable working environment.
"I hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to have regular health check-ups, raise your vigilance, proactively protect yourself, your family and your business, and actively participate in the movement to protect national security to build a safe and healthy working environment," Ms. Van emphasized.
