Comrade Phan Đình Trạc, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission , visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to the people.
Representing the province were: Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Dang Hong Sy, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Tieu Hong Phuc, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ha Thi Hanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Nguyen Minh, Provincial Party Committee Member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of various departments and agencies of Lam Dong province and Ham Thuan commune.

According to a report from the Ham Thuan Commune Party Committee, from October 26th to early December 2025, heavy rains and floods submerged 1,498 houses in the commune, damaging many structures used for daily life, with estimated losses of approximately 50 billion VND.

In Tam Hung village, situated along the Cai River basin, it became a flood-prone area and suffered severe damage. The commune had to urgently relocate 100 households to safe areas, 1,350 houses were flooded, many with water levels exceeding 1 meter, and 6 houses partially collapsed. Much of the villagers' property was damaged or swept away by the water. The village had 140 hectares of crops and 76 hectares of fruit trees flooded, with 50 to 100% affected, and many livestock and poultry were swept away.
Comrade Phan Dinh Trac kindly visited and shared in the losses suffered by the people due to the floods and encouraged families to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives as soon as possible. He also praised the efforts of the Party committee, the government, and the people in overcoming the consequences of the natural disaster, and the timely support of forces and philanthropists in rescue and relief efforts, helping people overcome difficulties, restore production, and stabilize their lives.

Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac urged all levels of government to boldly propose to higher authorities any obstacles encountered in the process of supporting the people, so that timely adjustments can be made. This is especially important for procedures related to requesting banks to freeze debts, extend repayment periods, waive interest, and in exceptional cases, write off debts for households severely affected. Furthermore, all levels of government in the province need to mobilize maximum resources to help people stabilize their lives as soon as possible.
On this occasion, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee presented 30 gifts to families severely affected by floods in Ham Thuan commune.
