Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of O Lam commune held the 1st Congress of Delegates

On the afternoon of October 15, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of O Lam commune held its first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Youth Union Phan Duy Bang and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of O Lam commune Tieu Dinh Hieu Nhan Trung attended the congress.

Speaking at the congress, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province, Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Youth Union Phan Duy Bang; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of O Lam Commune Tieu Dinh Hieu Nhan Trung requested the new Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of O Lam Commune to continue to promote political and ideological education among union members, youth and children; continue to implement "O Lam Youth promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".

The Congress announced the Decision of An Giang Provincial Youth Union to appoint a new Executive Committee of 29 comrades, a Standing Committee of 9 comrades; and appointed comrade Truong Thien Huy to hold the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of O Lam commune for the 2025-2030 term.

Launching support for northern compatriots affected by storms and floods.

On this occasion, the congress called on all delegates to contribute to support people in the northern provinces affected by storms and floods; the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of O Lam commune presented 10 health insurance cards and 200 chairs to schools in the commune.
