The 1st Congress of Delegates of the Veterans Association of Communes, term 2025

On October 15, the Veterans Association of Tay Thuy Anh, Tien Hung, Binh Dinh, Doan Dao, and Dien Ha communes held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.

During the past term, the cadres and members of the Association of War Veterans in Tay Thuy Anh commune overcame all difficulties and made efforts to complete the targets and tasks. 100% of members participated in the emulation movements "Exemplary War Veterans", " Thai Binh War Veterans follow Uncle Ho's words"; "All people protect the security of the Fatherland". The Association has built a charity fund of 565 million VND; coordinated to organize 24 training courses on applying science and technology in production for 890 members; and guaranteed with the Transaction Office of Thai Thuy Social Policy Bank for members to borrow capital with a total outstanding debt of more than 5 billion VND for economic development.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Tay Thuy Anh Commune War Veterans Association strives for 100% of its staff to be trained and fostered according to decentralization; admit 30 - 40 members each year; 100% of branches to be clean and strong; mobilize resources to create conditions for members to develop the economy , and have no poor war veteran households.

*Tien Hung Commune Veterans Association

During the past term, the Association of War Veterans in Tien Hung commune was united, exemplary, and fully completed the set targets. The Association focused on promoting the movements of "Exemplary War Veterans", "War Veterans helping each other reduce poverty and do good business". The Association was entrusted by the bank to lend 86 war veterans capital to develop the economy with a total outstanding loan balance of over 6 billion VND. Many war veterans were good business examples, creating jobs for their comrades, their children, and workers, contributing to promoting local economic development. The Association also regularly maintained the work of educating the tradition of patriotism for the younger generation, creating a spreading influence in the community.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Association of War Veterans in Tien Hung commune strives for 100% of its branches to be clean and strong, the Association to be clean and strong in all aspects, 96% or more of its cadres and members to achieve the title of "Exemplary War Veteran" and "Cultural Family"; promote the application of digital transformation in the Association's work...

During the past term, the Dien Ha Commune Veterans Association effectively carried out emulation movements and actively participated in local socio-economic development. The Association has 3 businesses, 62 farms and livestock farms; 45 lagoons and ponds for aquaculture. To help members develop the economy, the Association has secured loans from banks for 336 member households with a total outstanding debt of more than 18 billion VND. Currently, the rate of poor veteran households in the commune has decreased to 0.045%. The Association has also established 52 self-governing groups, 17 mediation groups, 33 clubs, including 4 self-governing groups on security, order and traffic safety.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Dien Ha Commune Veterans Association strives to admit 150 - 200 new members; the proportion of members with a good and rich standard of living reaches 75%, there are no poor or near-poor member households; over 96% of cadres and members achieve the title of "Exemplary Veteran", "Cultural Family"; continue to promote the core role in the economic development movement, build cultural life, maintain national defense and security, actively respond to movements and campaigns launched by localities and all levels.

During the past term, the cadres and members of the Association of War Veterans in Binh Dinh commune actively worked in production, boldly applied science and technology, and transformed models towards efficiency and sustainability. Many members have put into production high-value plant and animal varieties, developed services, maintained traditional occupations, and expanded new occupations. The entire association has 136 member households with good economic performance, notably models of construction materials trading, aquaculture, seafood farming, livestock and poultry farming, and large-scale agricultural production. To support members in economic development, the Association has secured loans from banks for 119 households with a total amount of over 5 billion VND. The Association always pays attention to social security work; visited and gave gifts to 75 members in difficult circumstances; supported the demolition of temporary and dilapidated houses for 12 members with a total cost of over 30 million VND and more than 120 working days. Up to now, the rate of well-off and rich households has reached 80.13%, while the rate of poor households has decreased to 0.48%.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Association of War Veterans of Binh Dinh commune sets out the direction to build a strong organization in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics; a streamlined apparatus, effective and efficient operations; a clean and exemplary staff. The Association strives for 100% of its members to be steadfast in ideology and politics; 100% of villages to establish War Veterans Clubs, effectively maintain veteran clubs; every year 100% of branches complete their tasks well or better; 100% of members achieve the title of exemplary member, 95% of member households achieve "Cultural Family".

During the past term, the cadres and members of the Doan Dao Commune Veterans Association have united, strived, proactively deployed and completed their tasks well. The Commune Veterans Association focused on propagating and mobilizing members to help each other develop the economy, improve their lives and carry out charitable activities well; organized 15 propaganda sessions, disseminated legal education to over 2,000 cadres and members. Every year, the Commune Veterans Association coordinates with the Youth Union and schools to organize talks on revolutionary traditions for the younger generation. 100% of the cadres and members of the Veterans Association pledged to say no to social evils such as drugs and gambling; families of Veterans Association members donated thousands of square meters of residential land, demolished surrounding walls to expand rural roads; Veterans Association members actively participated in the Front Work Committee, mediation teams in residential areas, etc.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Association of War Veterans of Doan Dao commune actively participates in building and protecting the Party, government and people; participates in educating the younger generation on patriotism and revolutionary traditions; helps each other develop the economy and improve their lives. Strive for 100% of cadres and members to be fully informed and study the resolutions of party congresses at all levels and participate in the election of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term; strives for 75 - 80% of cadres and members to have access to digital technology; every year, over 90% of cadres and members complete their tasks well or better...

At the Congresses, the decisions to appoint: Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Inspection Committee of the War Veterans Association of communes for the 2025 - 2030 term were announced; and delegates were appointed to attend the congress at higher levels.
