Cho Gao Commune Youth Union participates in cleaning Cho Gao Martyrs Cemetery

(ABO) On July 22, the Youth Union of Cho Gao commune, Dong Thap province coordinated with Viettel Cho Gao Center to organize a cleaning at Cho Gao Martyrs Cemetery.

Currently, Cho Gao Martyrs' Cemetery is the resting place of 950 graves of heroic martyrs. Here, nearly 60 members and young people participated in cleaning, replacing vases and flowers at the graves; sweeping leaves in the area of the Martyrs' Cemetery to prepare for the "Candle Lighting Ceremony in Gratitude" to the heroic martyrs and the Martyrs' Memorial Ceremony on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

This activity is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025); at the same time, affirming the role of union members and youth of Cho Gao commune in participating in volunteer activities, raising awareness among the younger generation about the revolutionary tradition, the heroic sacrifices for national independence of previous generations, promoting the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", national pride.
