FulBright University Vietnam delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Provincial People's Committee

On December 7, a delegation of Fulbright University Vietnam (FUV) led by Mr. Kentaro Watari, Director of Strategy and Planning, paid a courtesy visit to Cao Bang province. Welcoming them was Ms. Nguyen Lam Thi Tu Anh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Director of the Project Management Board for Construction and Coordination of the Cao Bang Provincial Policy Advisory Board.

Fulbright University Vietnam is an independent, not-for-profit Vietnamese university inspired by the American tradition of liberal arts higher education and dedicated to serving Vietnamese society through innovation in teaching, learning, and innovation. FUV is the successor to the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program, Vietnam’s first center for public policy teaching and research initiated by the Harvard Kennedy School 20 years ago.

Mr. Kentaro Watari said that FUV is looking for excellent students with a desire to learn, regardless of financial conditions or background. He hopes that the provincial leaders will create conditions for the delegation to meet with teachers and students at some high schools in the area to find and discuss the university's undergraduate program and admission methods for the 2018 school year.

Comrade Nguyen Lam Thi Tu Anh expressed her joy when the Fulbright University Vietnam project was implemented in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and hoped that the school's training programs would focus on issues of concern to the province; she affirmed that the province would support and create the best conditions for surveying and selecting students in the province.
